The Inspired Learning Basic Model™ course can be completed at your own pace in real audio format. Listen to it from your computer whenever you choose as many times as you choose! This class is a recording of our Oct 2003 class led by Founder Peter Reding.

It covers 7.5 hours of instruction divided into convenient segments. It includes the inspired learning model handbook and provides weekly exercises to deepen your discovery! You will get an in-depth look at the seven elements of the Inspired Learning Model™, and begin the process of Inspired Learning Certification.

The Inspired Learning Certification Program

Are you ready to deepen your knowledge of the Inspired Learning Model and gain mastery as an inspired learning facilitator? The Inspired Learning Certification Program opens the door for you to expand your repertoire and build your confidence through an integrated approach of telephone, coaching and face-to-face classes, all held in the Standards of Presence. Becoming certified establishes you as an inspired learning facilitator who has completed a specified number of education and facilitation hours. You also will be eligible to serve as faculty for the Foundation of Inspired Learning as it continues to grow and teach others who want to learn the magic of the Model.

The core experience is a three-day, face-to-face workshop in which you co-facilitate a one-hour session as well as participate in the inspired learning sessions of your classmates. Each session includes peer and master reviews through the powerful tools of listening, observation, and positive acknowledgment. Immersion in the Model’s elements, via self-guided readings, and six 90-minute teleclasses precede the workshop to support you in your readiness to design and deliver your session. As always, a safe and accepting space is created within each learning experience as you progress in your level of mastery.

In this program you will learn to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the seven elements of the Model.
• Apply the Standards of Presence in a learning environment.
• Display positive regard for all learners and learning moments (mindset of acknowledgment versus criticism).
• Practice eliciting inspired learning moments (mindset of allowing versus telling).
• Create an inspired learning experience in a subject matter of interest or passion.
• Collaborate with another facilitator to deliver an inspired learning session.
• Recognize learning styles and apply strategies that strengthen your program’s design and enhance the learning experience.
• Acknowledge your own and other learners’ mastery of subject matter competencies.
• Recognize and appreciate the benefits of facilitating in an easy, relaxed and accepting mode of delivery.

Program includes:

• Familiarizing yourself with or review of the Inspired Learning Model handbook.
• 6 weeks of 90-minute teleclasses and three 4 hour sessions as follows:
  
• One hour of coaching for program design support.
• One peer acknowledgement of your class plus a self acknowledgement of the same.
• One acknowledgment of a peer’s class.
• One Master acknowledgment of a second class you have facilitated plus a self- acknowledgment of the same.
• Completion of 10 hours of facilitation outside of this course using the Inspired Learning Model™.

Inspired Learning Master Certification Program

In this final program leading to full mastery of the Inspired Learning Model, you will deepen and integrate all of your prior learning and experience. Spanning 12 months, the program provides you with hands on mentoring with every element of the model, every step of the way by a Master Mentor. Extremely complete and cohesive, the fine points emerge and are practiced within an intimate group as your own masterful style is acknowledged and strengthened. The safe and accepting environment you’ve come to know in Inspired Learning is, once again, the foundation for this powerful program.

• Be a Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator
• Minimum 100 hours of facilitation using the Model*

* “Facilitation using the Model” means that, at a minimum, the Standards of Presence element is integrated into the learning experience.

A course will begin when 3 people have registered. This cohort will meet together with a Master Mentor for 12 months and will include the availability of a 10 minute coaching session per month, as needed. In the meetings candidates will share these requirements:

1. Write subject matter competencies at 3 levels of mastery in an area where you are the subject matter expert.
2. Write a 5- to 10-page paper (or equivalent) that describes an expanded or new application where you are using the Model.
3. Write a paper that addresses all elements of the Model (up to 1 page per element) that demonstrates how you have grown in your mastery of each of the 7 elements since becoming a Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator.
4. Participate in exercises that develop additional mastery at the deepest levels of facilitator competencies.

Additional Requirements:

• Co-facilitate a 13-week Inspired Learning Model™ Facilitator Course and arrange for your Master Mentor to observe one of the first six classes of this course. This may be done live, by phone, or by videotape. Then, meet with your Master Mentor for your self-acknowledgment and the Mentor’s acknowledgment of you.
  
  Note here: As an additional route to meet this requirement, beyond the scheduled Foundation classes, we invite you to gather 12 people interested in taking this class and we will provide registration on the website, a bridge line, and a Certified or Master Certified co-facilitator for the class
• Videotape three 20-minute segments of yourself facilitating an in-person session and meet with your Master Mentor for your self-acknowledgment and the Mentor’s acknowledgment of you (from a different class than the Facilitator Certification). The 3 recordings will be as follows:
   
• One 20-min tape demonstrating: Teaching or demonstrating your Subject Matter
• One 20-min tape demonstrating: Teeing up an exercise that allows the Inspired Learners to experience your Subject Matter
• One 20-min tape demonstrating: Debriefing an exercise and reinforcing your Subject Matter competencies grasped by the Inspired Learners
   
• Complete remaining hours needed to meet a total of 200 hours of facilitation using the Inspired Learning Model™. If all 200 hours have been met prior to starting this 12-month course, an additional 50 hours is required during this 12-month course. Facilitations need to span across at least 4 different audience groups.
