Our Vision:

Every person in the world celebrating learning, celebrating life.

Our Mission:

To evoke the innate love of learning in each learner and in each learning experience for a lifetime of Inspired Learning. The Foundation does this globally by:

  • Informing visionaries, educational leaders and policy makers in the Inspired Learning Model™
    and philosophy.
  • Certifying formal and informal educators in the Inspired Learning Model™ and philosophy.
  • Certifying those who are in a formal ongoing relationship with a learner in the Inspired Learning Model™ and philosophy.
  • Creating support structures that promote the exchange of ideas on how to apply and expand the use of the Inspired Learning Model™
  • Developing physical environments where the Inspired Learning training centre will co-exist with the performing arts centre for the community.
  • Partnering with organizations to become Inspired Learning Organizations.
  • Creating, expanding, advocating, communicating and researching the Inspired Learning Model™

Our Values:

  1. We are bold and pioneering in everything we do, promoting an organic, natural flow of our Vision.
  2. We promote the celebration of learning and life.
  3. We are collaborative with each other and with all our Inspired Partners.
  4. We recognize and acknowledge the magnificence of each person.
  5. We reflect and promote excellence, passion, and integrity with each individual we are in contact with – Inspired Learners, Inspired Facilitators, Inspired Partners, and Inspired Supporters.
  6. We are ever exploring and expanding the use of the Inspired Learning Model ™

The Foundation is a support organization, a community organization, a research organization and a teaching organization. We invite and welcome leaders from all walks of life, educators and administrators from public and private schools, post secondary and higher education teachers and professors, corporate trainers and workshop facilitators, personal trainers, parents, managers, ministers and religious educators, mentors and coaches.

The Inspired Learning Model ™

Most of the Model's 7 elements are going to sound familiar to dedicated and professional trainers and educators. As one seasoned educator put it, "This Model articulates what I have believed in and tried to practice for the past 17 years in my classroom!" The Model also challenges one of the oldest training principles: the idea that holds that as teachers and trainers we need to point out where the student has done something wrong. The Model takes a bold stand for focusing on only those competencies that the learner did "right." The Inspired Learning Model™ Handbook, in easy to understand language, describes how this is accomplished in any classroom or training environment, or in any workplace.

We are here to form a community to encourage inspired individuals to learn and practice, or for some of you to continue to practice the seven elements of the Inspired Learning Model™. We know many of you have been using several if not all of the seven elements of the Inspired Learning Model™ for years.

Our History

The Foundation for Inspired Learning was incorporated in the State of California as a non-profit 501 (c) 3 on January 21, 2003 . We received our determination letter from the IRS in October, 2004.

The Foundation for Inspired Learning acknowledges Peter Reding and Marcia Collins for their pioneering work in bringing this body of knowledge to the world, and expresses gratitude for their generous and unfailing contributions to the foundation.
